Our second time in Africa! We were surprised not only with the temples, the pyramids, or the natural beauty, but mainly by the people! Maybe due the recent terrorism attacks, nowadays egyptians are extremely friendly to foreigners! Most common sentences are "welcome to egypt" / "what's your name?" / "take me a picture"... not as in Morocco, if you don't buy or you don't tip them, a smile will always be their answer, speccially in non-touristic places, because in Luxor and Dahab you can already feel...that things will change... I am glad we were there before that...

In the afternoon I took LML and visited some areas of beautiful Ria de Aveiro
See Gallery Ria de Aveiro Looking around the "archives" I took a look at "working meeting" in Linz last year...
The meeting was held in November 2009, when the Europe's Cultural Capital was about to end... Linz started their cultural programme in 2007, which expositions and cultural activities in the "basements". In the next year - 2008 - expositions and activities were at "ground Floor"...In the year of the Cultural Capital...activities were on the top of the buildings...touching the sky :) Nice... André Cester Costa - July 2010 See Gallery Europe's Cultural Capital It's now One Year that we were in Med Festival, after our Morocco Adventure!
After two years not missing this great Festival this is a year for a "time-out"... Hopefully next year we'll be there again! For more info on MED visit: http://www.festivalmed.com.pt/ See Pics in Gallery Algarve and MED Festival Weekend We spent 2 days and 2 nights in Lisbon!
We started with the Non-smoking Orchestra and Kusturica in Coliseu dos Recreios! Staying in Evidencia Light Santa Catarina Hotel (cool concept), we walked around the "heart" of Lisbon for 2 days...Chiado, Bairro Alto, Alfama... André Cester Costa - April 2010 See Gallery Middle-Sized Cities 2 days, 2 nights, one National Park, the 3rd Biggest City in Portugal (Braga), the City Birth of Portugal (Guimarães), the oldest town in Portugal (Ponte de Lima), one beautiful Quinta and some memorable moments that we brought back from this beautiful Verde Minho

4000m dive! Amazing! And of course we also took the advantage to enjoy our beautiful Alentejo. André Cester Costa - August 2009 See pics in Gallery Alentejo Sky Our most recent travel was to Sardinia, last March. Off-season, for 5 days, we could travel around the island without mass-tourism implications and actually see how "Sardi" make their living...
We explore Cagliari old town, before renting a car to explore the rest of the Island. We had only four days, so we had to make options. We decided to skip Alghero and the North part of the Island, and explore the "out of the track" Piaggia de las Piscinas (Beach of the swimming-pools) in Costa Verde, Tharos Phonecian town, Nuraghe Losa and its 13th century BC arqueological site, the Orgosolo village and murals and the beautiful Golfo de Orosei... When we can, we will return to explore what was missed! André Cester Costa - March 2010 See pics in Gallery Sardinia In the summer of 2007, me and my good friend J went exploring the Balkans! If you are expecting that the former Yugolasvian countries are similar, prepare for the opposite. We travelled in four countries: Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Montenegro and we found diversity in Culture, Landscapes, Religions and People!
