This year there were no "mini-breaks" with our little Indian Vespa LML... So I remembered to post some of little adventures we have had in the recent years...one heading north for 4 days...and one heading south for 10 days.

Only almost one year after I had the time to see the photos and remember this amazing week in the Tenerife Island. Great island to walk (pedestrian routes) and to rent a car and drive by amazing breath-taking views.
September 2012 Gallery Tenerife In my way to Magdeburg on work, I had the chance to spend 2 days in Berlin exploring this vibrant city... The truth is that all the urban development over the last 23 years made it possible to create an unified city in a unified Germany... Nevertheless, going away from the normal "touristic routes" you can still visit the "remains" from the old DDR.

Check out some pictures from amazing Copenhagen. The best experience was to live as a Copenhagen in a rented apartment with AirBNB and to visit Louisiana Museum of Modern Art with a truly spectacular "Self Portrait" exposition. See Gallery Copenhagen Thanks to “chefe Valdemar da Companha da N.ª Sr.ª da Conceição” this Sunday I had the chance to participate in the traditional fishing of “Arte Xávega”. A good afternoon with good men. This fishing “Art” was made with bulls originally but nowadays it’s made with tractors. Still, in “praia do areão”, this is one of the few places where you can still watch it in the Portuguese Atlantic Coast. I not only watched but became a part of it. A day to remember!
André Cester Costa See Gallery Arte Xavega Since we are TEDx organizers we had this amazing possibility of travelling to Doha, in Qatar. Besides meeting amazing people and having the privilege to see live Hans Rosling in a TED Session, we were also granted the chance to meet this new country and explore a bit on what it has to offers. After visiting many other Islamic countries, this was our first opportunity to be in a "rich" Muslim country. And i must say, that despite the beauty of the new Doha, there is still something missing... maybe a soul. In the end, we felt like coming back...in 40 years, to see if the strategy really worked out...
See Gallery Qatar, Doha I am not a tourist, but a traveler, that intends to embrace others cultures and meet the locals... It will take some weeks to actually acknowledge everything I’ve experienced and every place I’ve visited, but for now I can already publish the pictures.
